Jonathan López

Jonathan López is a Venezuela-qualified attorney specializing in International Tax Law with a corporate focus. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Law (Taxation) from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain.

He possesses extensive experience representing offshore projects, including corporate structuring, reorganizations, and tax planning oriented toward Latin America, the U.S., and Spain. During his several years as an attorney at Deloitte, he developed his tax consulting practice by coordinating multidisciplinary groups and advising large multinational corporations in the Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, and Financial Services sectors.

In the academic sphere, he has served as a university professor at various institutions in both Venezuela and Spain. He is a member of the Venezuelan Association of Tax Law (AVDT), a frequent speaker, and an author of specialized publications on tax and regulatory matters. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors of ANTEA International, an organization comprising over 100 firms across 80 countries.
